Nanotechnology is new and very exciting. It is growing in the healthcare and supplement industry at a very fast pace. It most certainly has its place with CBD products. Why is this?
When we ingest any supplement contained in an oil base, our body essentially attempts to digest it in clumps. This makes for very low absorption rates and even lower rates for those who have digestion issues of any kind. Nanotechnology solves this problem by essentially coating each molecule of targeted substance (in this case, CBD) with a micelle. Micelles are made from fatty acids (fats) and they aid in absorption in the GI tract. With CBD isolate or distillate in an oil base, or any oral product that does not use Nanotechnology, we can expect about 20-30% absorption, at best. CBD is traditionally fat-soluble and does not dissolve in water. Nanotechnology gets us around this problem. With Nanotechnology, we absorb 90-95%. Being many people have problems with absorption to begin with, offering a more bioavailable water soluble form of CBD is a great way to ensure you are getting the CBD you are expecting. Nano CBD also gets around the ‘first pass’ issue that involves the liver.
In effect, Nano CBD is ‘pre digested.’ Nanotechnology also gives the CBD much greater surface area and allows for much better/easier digestion. The Nanoparticles are about about 100 times smaller than a red blood cell (under 100 nm in size) and the absorption is vastly improved: 4-5x that of macromolecules! This better absorption is also important as your body does not need to use vast resources to digest/absorb the Nano CBD.
Beyond the Nanotechnology, CBD works primarily by reducing the levels of two nasty enzymes, FAAH, and MAGL. These enzymes eat away at your own endocannabinoids (Anandamide and 2-AG). By lowering the two enzymes, your body can utilize your endocannabinoids (they activate the CB1 and CB2 receptors), and this allows your endocannabinoid system (ECS or eCB) to work as it should. Most of us do not have a properly functioning ECS as it’s very hard to be as healthy as we should be in this day of age. Directions
Start with one CBD Nano BurstsTM per day and increase as necessary to obtain optimal benefits. For adults, 1-3 Nano BurstsTM per day should suffice. For those not quite at adulthood, 1/2 to 1 Nano BurstTM per day is a good starting point and many times not much more than this is needed. This product also compliments a hemp oil based CBD tincture such as Revitalize, Prime, or Optimize.
